As a data scientist, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. On our team, you’ll use your analytical skills and data science knowledge to create real-world impact. You’ll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs, and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. You’ll develop algorithms and systems and use the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn sets of disparate data points into objective answers to help clients make informed decisions.

• 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 3+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages such as Python, for data analysis
• 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining report visuals, structure, and processes with BI dashboard tools and development such as Tableau, Qlik Sense, or Power BI
• Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data sources
• Ability to develop predictive data models, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• HS diploma or GED
• Secret clearance

• 2+ years of experience working in or with the DoD or military
• 2+ years of experience developing in React and Typescript
• Experience working with Palantir Foundry
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum processes
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
