Our work depends on a Network Engineer Senior joining our team to support USPACOM J6 mission outcomes through MPE network engineering, modernization, secure integration, and operational collaboration across the Indo-Pacific.
GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.
How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact- Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
- Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
- Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
- Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
- Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
- Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
- Education:
BA/BS degree in related networking or IT field - Required Experience:
8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoD/enterprise IT environment. - Required Technical
Skills:
tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications. - Security Clearance Level: Final Secret.
- Required
Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams. - Preferred
Skills:
Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking. - Location:
On customer site at JBPH-H.
