Port​/Airfield Operations Lead

Amentum is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Port / Airfield Operations Lead to support the safe and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, supplies, and cargo through port and airfield environments throughout the Indo-Pacific in support of Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

The position coordinates terminal activities, cargo movement, staging, loading, unloading, documentation, and onward movement while maintaining operational awareness of throughput, capacity, and constraints.

• Can execute independently in a distributed Indo-Pacific logistics environment while coordinating across customers, teammates, vendors, and mission partners;
• Can synchronize port and airfield operations and maintain visibility of requirements from origin through destination.; and
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that may include exercises, contingencies, surge operations, and OCONUS travel.

• Coordinate and support port and airfield logistics operations.
• Manage or execute cargo receiving, staging, loading, unloading, and transfer activities.
• Coordinate with transportation, movement control, warehouse, supply, and distribution personnel.
• Monitor cargo flow, schedules, capacity, and operational status.
• Maintain accurate cargo and movement documentation.
• Support aircraft and vessel cargo operations as assigned.
• Identify operational constraints, delays, safety concerns, and throughput limitations.
• Coordinate onward movement of cargo from terminal locations.
• Support surge, contingency, exercise, and distributed logistics operations.
• Operate applicable material-handling or logistics equipment when qualified and authorized.
• Maintain compliance with applicable safety and operational procedures. responsiveness, and interoperability.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of port, airfield, transportation, cargo, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Experience supporting cargo handling, staging, transportation, or terminal operations.
• Ability to operate applicable equipment when required and properly certified.
• Familiarity with USINDOPACOM and Indo-Pacific mission priorities
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance.

  US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.

• Large-scale or multi-site warehouse operations.
• Military distribution center or commercial 3PL experience.
• HAZMAT/MHE;
  Lean Six Sigma, OSHA, APICS/ASCM or equivalent.
• Experience supporting USINDOPACOM, PACFLT, MARFORPAC, PACAF, USARPAC and SOCPAC
• Have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $150K - $170K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
