One year later, HTA added Grade 11 and expanded to Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii Island, adding a learning center in Princeville for Kauai students and two virtual pilot programs on Maui and Hawaii Island.

In 2010, HTA began serving students in Grades K-12.

Today, HTA serves more than 2,300 students on six campuses across four islands (Hawaii Island, Kauai, Maui, and Oahu) and is Hawaii’s largest statewide public charter school.
