Overview
Position Summary...
What you'll do- Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback.
- Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams.
- Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives, and resolving customer needs and issues.
- Develops and implements action plans to correct deficiencies and provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
- Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, controlling expenses, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes.
- Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals for the assigned business area.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, setting expectations, recognizing performance, and promoting a sense of belonging.
- Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans, identifying goals, measuring progress, and driving continuous learning.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company mission, values, ethics, and integrity by applying related action plans and the Open Door Policy.

- 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
- Associates must attend and successfully complete all required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, or Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
State Pay Differential and other applicable differentials may apply where required by law.
