As a sales associate you will be the face of the company, highlighting our brand and image while building our reputation as a customer‑focused organization. You will be directly responsible for assisting customers and helping them recognize the need for our products and services. You must be capable of learning about what we sell and articulating our purpose in an educational, insightful and professional manner.

- Proactively engage and establish a connection with customers
- Ask questions and listen to customer needs
- Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers and STAR card
- Build positive, inclusive and respectful relationships; take accountability for actions and outcomes
- Maintain store appearance
- Cross‑sell products and understand store layout
- Make suggestions to customers on latest trends and current promotions based on individual needs
- Upsell products and provide product knowledge on features, specs, and benefits
- Use the point‑of‑sale system to process cash, exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards and handle cash accurately
- Complete various forms, reports and reconciliations
- Perform inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is checked in and accurately ticketed
- Adhere to assigned work schedule and complete all work assignments; perform other duties as assigned
- Basic product knowledge of men’s apparel and footwear
- Retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Read, write and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Communicate verbally with customers, peers and management; use proper telephone etiquette
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division
- Ability to multi‑task, remain attentive to customers and flexible to business needs
- Work as part of a team, take initiative independently of direct supervision
- Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
- Vision requirements: close vision, color vision, depth perception; ability to adjust focus
- Involves lifting 25‑50 lbs; may require lifting up to 50 lbs in some departments
- Work typically performed indoors; may be outdoors depending on location

Work hours:
available to work a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
No experience required. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
