Pay: From $27.05/hour

Job Type: Part-Time (24+ hours)

Availability: Evening and weekend availability strongly preferred. Candidates with open availability will be prioritized for next steps.

Foodland Super Market is hiring experienced Meat Cutters to join the team!

This hourly position offers a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

• Ensure meat cases are well‑stocked with fresh, high‑quality meat and poultry products.
• Receive, stock, cut, grind, wrap, weigh, price, and attractively merchandise meat department products.
• Order and stock prepackaged deli items and frozen food products that fall under the meat department.
• Maintain proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize freshness and availability while minimizing waste.
• Assist customers with special requests and answer questions about meat products and services.
• Operate equipment such as meat saws, slicers, grinders, wrapping machines, and knives.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
• Successfully pass the apprenticeship/training program.
• Must have TB clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.
• Preferred: 2 years of knife skills, grocery store environment, culinary practices, and meat cutting experience.
