Job Summary
We are looking for a NAPA Counter Sales Associate to serve as the face of the retail store and provide automotive parts expertise to our customers. This role is ideal for individuals who want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part time, or explore future opportunities within our network.
Responsibilities- Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone.
- Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members and answer questions for customers.
- Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters the NAPA Store.
- Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast‑paced stores.
- Welcome retail customers into the store and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.
- Use technology (computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system) to support sales and service.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Technical or Trade school courses or degree.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Love fast‑paced retail environments.
- Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
- Optional (but not a deal breaker): background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.

Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision. - Optional (but not a deal breaker):
Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems. - Optional (but not a deal breaker):
Entirely customer‑centric (external/internal) mindset. - Optional (but not a deal breaker): ASE Certifications.
