Industrial Equipment & Projects Technician - HI

If you would enjoy working with a small but mighty global family business in Waipahu, HI - and you bring solid knowledge of electro‑mechanical systems, industrial equipment, pumps, motors, VFDs, plumbing, piping, industrial pressure washing systems, generators, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.

• Install, upgrade, and commission industrial and commercial systems, including generators, HVAC units, fire alarm components, electrical systems, plumbing lines, and related infrastructure.
• Perform system replacements and retrofits, removing outdated equipment and installing new, code‑compliant solutions.
• Execute multi‑trade project work such as light carpentry, mounting, anchoring, conduit runs, piping, wiring, and equipment integration.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and project scopes to complete installations accurately and safely.
• Conduct functional testing, startup, and verification to ensure systems operate to specification.
• Provide clear documentation of work performed, materials used, and any field changes or recommendations.
• Support occasional troubleshooting and repair needs during project execution.
• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe, and reliable condition.
• Minimal overnight travel.
• Excellent driving record and willingness to submit to a thorough background check that complies with the DOD and our other government partners.
• We will provide training and one‑on‑one support by top management to assist you in being successful.
• Pay depends on experience and skill level.

• Able to understand mechanical, electrical, and electronic/computer hardware functionality and use knowledge to troubleshoot equipment.
• Must provide excellent service to our valued customers.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience, 5 years plus is preferred.
• The job is considered medium‑to‑heavy in nature and involves walking, maneuvering around moving objects/machinery, standing, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, digging, pushing or raising, objects and also involves exerting between 20 and 50 pounds of force on a recurring basis and 50 to 100 pounds of force on an occasional basis. Ability to work outside under various environmental conditions, may include some exposure to hazardous materials and equipment.
  
  Ability to climb ladders with 300 lb. weight limit.
