Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Leverage platform engineering principles to ensure reliable, scalable, and performant services
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting our applications
• Impact ability to meet and exceed SLAs
• Collaborate closely with other engineering teams
• Create services that are automatable, measurable, and resilient
• Design and secure infrastructure for business needs
• Build, deploy, and maintain automation, monitoring, and alerting systems
• Ensure scalability and maintainability through microservices
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for smooth production releases
• Verify system performance and correctness in response time and throughput
• Participate in peer reviews, contribute to test suites, and design reviews
• Participate in an on-call rotation

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Extensive expertise with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Operational experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Interest in and understanding of best‑in‑class security practices, automation and testing methods
• Familiarity with infrastructure components such as Redis, Elasticsearch, and Hadoop
• Passion for customer success
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of managing and optimizing Postgresql server configuration is a bonus
• Experience with managing service meshes (e.g. Istio)
• Defining and monitoring Service‑Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service‑Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, and/or Datadog
• Experience using Open Telemetry in production environments
• Managing Python and Golang applications in production
• Familiarity with Dev Ops tooling such as Docker, Terraform, ArgoCD, and CircleCI
• Experience with AWS/Cloud services such as EKS, EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
