General Labor - Oahu

Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Non-Exempt, Hourly

The General Laborer provides support to roofing crews by performing manual labor, material handling, site preparation, demolition, cleanup, and other construction-related tasks under the direction of the Roofing Foreman. This is an entry-level position designed to develop the foundational skills necessary to advance into a Roofing Installer role.

• Assist with job site setup, preparation, and cleanup before, during, and after construction projects.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Perform demolition and removal of existing building materials as directed.
• Assist carpenters, roofers, installers, and other trades with project tasks.
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or material shortages.
• Support crews in completing projects efficiently and on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support construction operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous construction or labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
