Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 based on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities

The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a tax-focused role involving tax preparation, Form 1040 review, client service, tax planning support, and collaboration with managers and firm leadership.
This is not intended to be a career senior accountant position. We are looking for someone who wants to grow into a manager-level role and has a genuine interest in future ownership. The right candidate will take on increasing responsibility for client relationships, tax review, staff development, advisory work, and workflow leadership as part of that path.
Responsibilities- Prepare Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and related tax returns
- Review individual tax returns, primarily Forms 1040
- Assist with tax projections and planning calculations
- Communicate with clients regarding tax matters, document requests, and follow-up questions
- Review bookkeeping and financial statements for tax readiness
- Research and resolve tax and accounting issues
- Support managers and partners with advisory work
- Assist newer staff with questions and development
- Help maintain quality control and workflow efficiency
- Participate in process improvement discussions
- 3–6 years of recent public accounting experience
- CPA or Enrolled Agent designation required; CPA preferred
- Strong experience preparing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S
- Experience reviewing Forms 1040 preferred, or readiness to develop in this area
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
- Interest in growing into a manager-level role and future ownership opportunity
- Experience with tax projections and planning
- Experience reviewing bookkeeping or financial statements
- Experience helping train or support junior staff
- Experience with Ultra Tax CS, Quick Books Online, and Karbon
- Interest in using AI and technology tools to improve workflow and client service
