Automotive Account Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable

Job Duties:

Full-charge accurate and timely accounts payable invoice processing and payment, including but not limited to payments to vendors, drivers, miscellaneous check requests, parts refund checks, and utilities

Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment

Process check requests

Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures for checks and distribute checks accordingly

Audit and process credit card bills

Respond to all vendor inquiries

Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practicesW-9 file maintenance and compliance

Yearly 1099 printing and submission

Monthly accrual entries and reconciliation

Manufacturer and vendor statement reconciliation

Produce accurate and timely financial reports and ensure the timely reporting of all financial information

Assist with monthly and year-end close and a clean and timely year-end audit

Accurate and timely general ledger entry posting and schedule maintenance

Accounts Payable Specialist

Qualifications:

Accounts Payable experience required2-year degree in Accounting/Business required, 4-year degree in Accounting/Business preferred Automotive industry experience preferred

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have strong interpersonal skills

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Legally eligible to work in the United States Valid Drivers License Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check
