Robert Half has partnered with a growing construction company in Wake Forest, North Carolina to assist them in hiring an experienced Accounting Manager. This position is 100% onsite and requires several years of job costing and Quick Books experience. In this role, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects while utilizing your expertise in Quick Books and construction accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of invoices, payments, and reimbursements.

• Reconcile bank accounts and prepare monthly financial statements to maintain accurate records.

• Manage job costing processes, tracking budgets, expenses, and profitability for all active construction projects.

• Prepare and submit pay applications, review invoices, and ensure proper documentation for billing and payment processing.

• Administer lien waivers, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements while maintaining detailed records.

• Coordinate project closeouts by reconciling job costs and preparing final financial reports.

• Utilize Quick Books to maintain financial records, generate reports, and support payroll processing.

• Collaborate with project managers and department heads to ensure seamless financial operations across all projects.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

• Support payroll processing, including tracking employee time and labor costs tied to specific projects.
