Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Elementary School Teacher role based in Wake Forest, NC. The teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lessons aligned with Montessori methods and state standards, fostering a bilingual and culturally responsive classroom environment. Daily responsibilities include planning and delivering instruction, differentiating learning for diverse student needs, assessing student progress, and maintaining accurate records. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and families, participate in school meetings and professional development, and contribute to a positive school culture.

Classroom management, clear communication, and consistent support of students’ social and emotional development are central to this role.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Teaching and Elementary Education, with experience guiding students in a classroom setting.
  • Ability to design and adapt Curriculum Development to meet diverse learning needs and Montessori instructional practices.
  • Strong Communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and building partnerships with families.
  • Background in Education, such as a degree in Education or a related field, and appropriate teaching licensure or eligibility.
  • Understanding of Montessori philosophy and instructional methods preferred
  • Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices and the social-emotional development of elementary-aged learners.
  • Organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative school environment.
