Position SummaryThe AI Governance Analyst will support the implementation and oversight of the organization's AI governance framework, ensuring AI solutions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF). This role partners with business, technology, risk, and compliance teams to identify, assess, and mitigate AI-related risks while promoting responsible and compliant AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation and maintenance of AI governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure AI solutions align with NIST AI RMF principles and organizational risk requirements.
- Conduct AI risk assessments and document governance reviews.
- Monitor compliance with AI governance controls and regulatory expectations.
- Maintain AI inventory, documentation, and risk registers.
- Partner with Data Science, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Support audits, regulatory examinations, and governance reporting activities.
- Identify and escape risks related to AI bias, explainability, privacy, security, and model performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Governance, Data Governance, Model Risk Management, or AI Governance.
- Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF).
- Experience conducting risk assessments and compliance reviews.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of AI/ML technologies and generative AI solutions.
- Familiarity with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) tools.
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CIPP, CISSP, or AIGP.
- Experience with audits & controls
