Assistant Bakery Manager

Lowes Foods is seeking a full-time Assistant Bakery Manager to support our fresh-focused, guest-obsessed bakery team. In this role, you'll help lead daily bakery operations, including production planning, merchandising, inventory, and team supervision. You'll ensure fresh, high-quality baked goods, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and deliver warm, friendly service that reflects our Southern hospitality. Working closely with the Bakery Manager, you'll train and coach bakery hosts, support scheduling, manage waste and ordering, and help create fun, engaging in-store experiences for our community.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with daily bakery operations and planning
• Oversee production schedules to ensure fresh, high-quality baked goods
• Lead, train, and coach bakery hosts on standards and procedures
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and waste control to meet targets
• Deliver friendly, guest-focused service and resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate displays, promotions, and sampling to drive sales
• Help with scheduling, labor monitoring, and task assignments
• Ensure accurate labeling, pricing, and compliance with policies
