Maintenance Technician - Bexley at Heritage

Maintenance Technician – EPA Certified – Weinstein Properties is looking for a skilled, EPA-certified Maintenance Technician to join our team at Bexley at Heritage in Wake Forest, NC. Location: Bexley at Heritage | Wake Forest, NC

Compensation: $21–$23/hour (and up, depending on experience) with a $1,500 sign-on bonus (details discussed during interview)

• Pay: $21–$23/hour (and up, depending on experience)
• $1,500 sign-on bonus (details discussed during interview)
• On-call pay: $150/week (calls or no calls) + $150 per holiday on-call
• Quarterly bonus: Up to $980 based on property and team performance

• Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours/week)
• On-call: Participation in a rotating emergency on-call schedule with the team

• Complete work orders in occupied and vacant apartments
• Assist with apartment turns and make-readies
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry items
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the community, including grounds, amenities, and pool areas
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep the property running smoothly

• At least 3 years of apartment or residential maintenance experience
• EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Hands-on HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience
• Strong customer service mindset and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing tasks

• Reliable transportation
• Comfortable using computers and mobile devices (Outlook, work order systems, etc.)
• Ability to drive a golf cart
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work indoors/outdoors year-round
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Background check required
