Cost Accountant/Analyst Wakefield , Massachusetts Perm 75000 Aug 19, 2026 $ 75000.00 - $85000.00 KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a client in Bedford, MA that is looking to add an Inventory Accountant to their team! This is an on-site opportunity ideal for an accounting professional with 3+ years of experience in inventory and cost accounting.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory costing and monitor inventory balances to identify trends and discrepancies
- Reconcile inventory accounts and prepare inventory-related journal entries
- Support the month-end close process
- Analyze inventory and costing variances and investigate discrepancies
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy - Conduct internal audits and assist with external audit requests
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting
- 3+ years of experience in inventory and cost accounting
- Experience working with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Epicor, or SAP
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas
Compensation: $70-85k/year depending on experience
