Job Description & How to Apply Below

Company Description

Veracross provides SaaS-based School Information Systems (SIS) designed to meet the specific needs of independent K-12 schools worldwide. Our one-record solution combines the power of a fully integrated single-record database, personalized communication tools, and an elegant architecture that is unique in our industry.

We are a growing, values-led community of employees in the US, UK and Australia who share a vision to unify school communities, improve the quality of education, and enhance learning.

Veracross is five product brands in one global tech company.

  • Veracross SIS is a one-person, one-record school management platform.
  • Magnus Health provides cloud-based Student Health Record (SHR) solutions.
  • Digistorm connects with communities through Digistorm Websites, Digistorm Funnel, and Digistorm Apps.
  • Epraise incentivizes student well-being and connects teachers, students, and families.
  • Firefly provides an online learning space for students and teachers.
Role Description

We are hiring a Sr. Product Manager to own the end-to-end admissions journey in Veracross — from the moment a prospective family fills out an inquiry form, through application and decision, into enrollment contracts and re-enrollment, and across the full financial aid lifecycle.

This is one of the highest-leverage product areas issions and financial aid decisions shape a school’s revenue, its student body, and its ability to fulfill its mission. You’ll have real ownership of a product that matters to the people who use it.

Responsibilities
  • End-to-end admissions flow: inquiry, application, review and decisioning, enrollment contracts, re-enrollment, and financial aid decisions — owned as a single connected journey.
  • Integrations and handoffs: clean connections between admissions, enrollment, financial aid, billing, and the student record so a family is one family, not five.
  • Discovery and roadmap: spend time with admissions directors, business managers, and enrollment teams to understand the work, define the problems worth solving, and ship in priority order.
  • Metrics that matter: funnel conversion, application completion, time-to-decision, financial aid turnaround, re-enrollment yield, and operational metrics that show the product saves school time.
  • Cross-functional partnership: day-to-day work with engineering and design on your squad, plus close partnership with customer success, support, implementation, sales, and marketing.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of product management experience shipping software to real users, ideally B2B SaaS.
  • A track record of owning a product area end-to-end — discovery, scoping, shipping, and iterating based on what you learn.
  • Strong customer instincts: spend real time with users, write down what you hear, and distinguish feature requests from underlying problems.
  • Comfort with workflow-heavy products: hold multi-step, multi-stakeholder processes in mind and reason where they break.
  • Data fluency: pull your own numbers, build a basic funnel, and use metrics to prioritize, not just report after the fact.
  • Clear, concise writing: PRDs that engineers want to build from and updates that stakeholders read.
  • A bias toward shipping: get something useful in front of customers and learn rather than perfect the spec for another month.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in EdTech, K-12, higher ed, or another mission-driven domain.
  • Familiarity with admissions, enrollment, or financial aid processes — as a PM, an operator, or a former school employee.
  • Experience with complex calculation engines, eligibility logic, or workflow products with branching states.
  • Comfort working closely with finance or business office stakeholders.
Benefits
  • Medical, Dental & Vision (Blue Cross Blue Shield & Eye Med).
  • Veracross LLC Fidelity 401(k) Plan – Managed by Sentinel Benefits.
  • 3 weeks of vacation per year.
  • 14 paid holidays per year (including the week off between Christmas and New Year's Eve).
  • 56 hours of paid sick leave annually.

Salary at Veracross is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. The compensation range for this position is $150k to $175k (annualized USD) in addition to potential bonus.

We value the power of an inclusive culture and a strong sense of belonging. We seek to infuse diversity and inclusion in everything we do while promoting a culture where differences are embraced as strengths; opportunities are equal and accessible; consideration and respect are the norm; and all team members are supported in reaching their full potential.
