Senior UX Designer

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to help modernize complex digital products for an established organization within the financial services industry. This individual will lead user experience initiatives across multiple platforms while partnering with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders.

This is a contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role.

• Lead UX strategy and design for complex, customer-facing financial products.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and development-ready specifications in Figma.
• Design user experiences that integrate with Salesforce platforms and workflows.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to develop practical, technically feasible solutions.
• Incorporate accessibility, legal, risk, compliance, and data-disclosure requirements into designs.
• Plan and conduct moderated and unmoderated usability studies.
• Translate research findings into clear design recommendations.
• Manage and evolve design systems, including component libraries, documentation, governance, version control, and team adoption.
• Use emerging AI-assisted design and development tools to accelerate prototyping and explore interface variations.
• Present design decisions to technical teams, business leaders, and compliance stakeholders.
• Support data-heavy dashboards, complex forms, and API-driven interfaces.

• 12+ years of UX, product design, or user experience design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating ownership of complex digital products and increasingly senior responsibilities.
• Experience with in banking, financial services, fintech, insurance, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
• Advanced Figma skills, including components, auto layout, variables, prototyping, design systems, and developer handoff.
• Experience designing within or alongside Salesforce products such as Financial Services Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing through  or a comparable platform.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and designing within legal or regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret HTML and CSS.
• Experience working closely with Agile product and engineering teams.
• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Experience supporting design systems built with React or a similar framework.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design or coding tools.
• Experience designing financial dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualizations.
• Background in enterprise SaaS or B2B product design.
• Familiarity with accessibility-auditing tools and assistive-technology testing.
• Knowledge of financial workflows such as account management, transactions, reporting, and advisory services.

The ideal candidate combines strong visual and interaction-design skills with technical fluency and an understanding of regulated financial environments. This person should be collaborative, comfortable managing competing priorities, and able to balance long-term design strategy with the need to deliver practical solutions quickly.
