Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a range of secondary schools across Wakefield to recruit enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers
. These roles offer flexibility and are ideal for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking to gain experience across a variety of school settings.

You will be delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subject areas, maintaining strong classroom management, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all pupils.

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and year groups
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular class teacher
• Provide feedback to schools on pupil progress where required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
