DEFINITION:

• Previous successful experience with children.
• Ability to communicate successfully with staff and students.
• Ability to accept directions and work in a subordinate role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To assist in the preparation of instructional materials.
• To provide ancillary instruction if required under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Acts as a resource person concerning health issues for individual student.
• Assume responsibility for continuing own education and obtain consultation, supervision and peer review as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience working in an educational setting or with children.
