Job Details Responsibilities

Oversee all financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.

Develop detailed project forecasts and conduct regular updates to ensure accuracy.

Handle all project requisitions, including reviewing, approving, and processing for payment.

Collaborate with project managers to ensure all financial aspects of projects are on track and within budget.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

Participate in project meetings to provide financial insights and updates.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or CMA certification would be considered an asset.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting, preferably in the construction industry.

Expertise in project forecasting and managing requisitions.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and create meaningful reports.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

A keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards in the construction industry.
