Senior Business System Analyst – Epsilon
You’ll make an impact as part of a data‑centric team focused on providing technical solutions and strategies to help clients achieve their digital marketing objectives using Epsilon’s People Cloud Prospect & Discovery cleanroom.
OverviewAs a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will leverage your understanding of the ad tech space, technical capabilities, and knowledge of Epsilon’s cleanroom platforms to support actionable digital media strategies. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, advertising agencies, technical product teams, and data science teams, working across many disciplines within the SDLC—including requirements gathering, documentation, design, and testing—and collaborating closely with the Delivery Lead to ensure on‑time project delivery.
Whatyou’ll do
- Work with internal teams to integrate marketers into the People Cloud platform.
- Serve as the subject‑matter expert and client liaison, driving execution and delivery of key digital initiatives.
- Collaborate with Advertising Agencies, Data Science, Account Management, Client Development, Media Managers, Data Engineers, and Product Owners.
- Document business requirements, source‑to‑target specifications, process flow diagrams, data profiles, and test cases; lead review sessions and obtain acceptance.
- Trace all business requirements to functional and non‑functional specifications, covering data onboarding, business rules, and end‑user use cases such as campaigns, reports, and analytical models.
- Analyze data quality and recommend changes.
- Perform product fitment analysis, identify gaps, and create specifications to address them.
- Support onboarding of multiple data sources into a client’s cleanroom environment, focusing on documentation, requirements, workflows, specifications, needs analysis, and validation.
- Leverage partnerships with client services, product/data teams, and data science to ensure requirements are captured and met.
- Build trusted advisory relationships with client teams from a BSA perspective.
- Host effective client meetings, understand deliverables, and drive successful outcomes.
- Develop and implement best practices, standards, and methodologies around business analysis and data analysis.
- 5+ years of business analysis experience in the database/data‑driven marketing space.
- Proven experience defining business requirements and functional specifications.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehouse, and data mart concepts.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Analytical mindset and ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data.
- Curiosity and desire to continue learning.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Collaborative, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work with global teams and mentor less experienced peers.
- Understanding of web technologies is a plus.
- Preferred: previous digital marketing experience, especially in online display advertising.
- Preferred: working knowledge of DSP, SSP, and DMP ad technologies.
Base Salary: $82,100 – $152,200. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon, but not limited to, the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location and employment laws.
