Overview
2020 Companies is hiring a full‑time Brand Representative to represent Dell at retail stores. The Brand Representative (BA) will build relationships, create excitement about Dell’s products, and help drive sales, training and merchandising across the assigned market.
The ideal candidate is a people‑person with strong communication skills, who can nurture relationships with store associates and customers alike. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and the ability to stage a consultative selling process are required.
Day in the LifeTypical schedule:
Tuesday–Saturday. Work is flexible for a healthy work/life balance. Responsibilities include refreshing product displays quarterly, building partnerships and trust with key stakeholders, educating retail associates about new Dell offerings, inspecting Dell branded displays and marketing, and travelling within the assigned territory to visit various retailers and generate brand excitement.

- Drive brand market share through direct and indirect sales activities engaging customers and channel partners.
- Develop partnerships with store management to foster sales‑driving activities.
- Schedule & facilitate sales and product training for frontline associates and managers.
- Ensure current products are displayed, functional, and clean.
- Set retail display resets and refreshes as needed within assigned markets.
- Opportunity to travel for merchandising throughout the nation.
- Build and maintain industry vertical affiliate distribution relationships.
- Assess and communicate on‑site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral.
- Educate customers, make product recommendations, and meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals.
- Accurately document and report sales, schedules, activities and best practices.
- Collect customer feedback and provide sales/marketing channel insight and recommendations.
- Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed.
- Conduct surveys of in‑store branded fixtures and displays and record findings.
- Partner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issues.
- Execute resets, including placement or removal of devices and marketing material.
- Provide insight into marketplace trends, consumer insights, competitor information.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals.
- Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals.
- Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly.
- Schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance.
- Execute sales activities inside each location during all visits.
- Demonstrate ongoing ability to establish and influence business relationships through increased shelf space and product placement.
- Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products (preferred).
- 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
- Strong multi‑tasking skills, time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment.
- Travel within 70 miles of Ideal Market Zip Code with occasional travel to other markets.
- Must have reliable transportation and state‑required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.
