Position: Nursery Practitioner (Contract)

Teacher Active is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery located in Wakefield (WF1). The nursery care for children aged between 6 months to 5 years of age, supporting them as they grown and move through the rooms. The current team work hard to ensure the safety and security of every child within the setting, creating a warm and welcoming environment for the children to settle into.

The nursery are currently searching for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their growing team. The ideal applicant must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent, and will have previous experience working in an Early Years setting. The successful Nursery Practitioner will be passionate about working with young children and helping them learn and develop new skills.

They will be excited to join a growing team, and work together to ensure every child within the setting receives a high standard of care.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will:

Have a minimum 1 years’ experience working in an Early Years Setting
Have a good understanding of current Safeguarding and Child Protection policies & procedures
Be able to work well with others as a team.
