Maintenance Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of electrical systems within our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical components. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining safety standards and ensuring minimal downtime in operations.

Duties Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting systems. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and installations. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure comprehensive facility upkeep.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs conducted. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing tasks. Skills Proficient in electrical systems, with a solid understanding of wiring diagrams and schematics. Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality workmanship in all tasks performed.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to electrical work is advantageous.

Schedule:

Full time role (approx. 40 hours a week) for at least 3 months ideally on shift rotation:
