Shift Pattern and On-Call Responsibilities
- Working Pattern
- Monday
- Sunday working five days in seven on a rota - There are additional responsibilities for out-of-hours on-call shared with the maintenance team
- You will be provided with a work vehicle, company mobile phone & tablet, work uniform and tools
- Internal Painting – Preparation and painting of walls, skirting boards, ceilings, doors, etc including touch-ups and refreshes
- External Painting – Painting of external walls, fences, gates etc
- Sealing & Caulking – Appling/renewing sealants and silicone around windows, doors, skirting boards, furniture etc where required
- General Maintenance – Basic joinery, plumbing, and other building repairs
- Supporting the wider maintenance team with various tasks as required
- Work positively with the existing maintenance team to learn and develop new skills.
- Any other reasonable maintenance requests required by the service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in painting/decorating and general maintenance work
- Basic skills in joinery, plumbing and general building maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Reliable, punctual and physically capable of handling maintenance tasks
- Ability to work under pressure where time can sometimes be restricted
- Understanding of health & safety practices related to maintenance work
- Full driving licence
