The Role
As an MET Technician (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim), you'll be responsible for stripping and refitting accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring all mechanical, electrical and trim components are reinstalled to manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities include:
Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components during the vehicle repair process.
Diagnosing and replacing damaged parts as required.
Carrying out vehicle inspections before and after repairs.
Working alongside panel beaters and paint technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently.
Using diagnostic equipment where required to identify and rectify vehicle faults.
Ensuring all repairs comply with manufacturer repair methods and safety standards.
Maintaining accurate job records and completing work within agreed timescales.
Carrying out final quality checks before vehicles are returned to customers.

About You
This role would suit an experienced MET Technician / Mechanical, Electrical & Trim Technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment.

You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as an MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) Technician within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (NVQ / IMI / SVQ / ATA), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
Strong mechanical, electrical and trim removal and refitting skills.
Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment is advantageous.
Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and manufacturer repair methods.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A full UK driving licence.
