EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to type accurately (50 wpm).
- Knowledge of efficient office practices and procedures.
- Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).
- Ability to react effectively to various simultaneous inquiries.
- Capacity to work with pupils, teachers, parents, administrative personnel and school visitors in a manner that is conducive to good working relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Enters, maintains and retrieves student database information.
- Prepares and types a variety of correspondence and reports.
- Operates office equipment in support of school administration and staff.
- Regular on-time attendance.
- Performs related duties as assigned by the school principal.

The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard.
The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
