Senior Business Process Engineer – Institutional Services

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and align with regulatory and compliance standards
• Interview process SMEs, process owners, and Division managers to understand existing processes
• Assess risks, gaps, and control weaknesses and elevate risk-related issues
• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls
• Document and map current-state business processes using spreadsheets, Microsoft Visio, and BPMN
• Facilitate future-state process design and maintain documentation according to governance procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using process improvement and operational excellence best practices
• Support change management, communication, training, and implementation of process changes
• Champion process excellence by reducing costs, cycle time, errors, and risk
• Manage and formulate business opportunities in long-term planning, including business cases and implementation of initiatives
• Develop and monitor KPIs/KRIs and other operational metrics
• Execute process re-engineering projects across multiple Institutional Services business lines
• Adhere to risk, regulatory, and internal control standards and implement audit and regulatory findings
• Complete other related duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 11 years’ higher education and/or work experience in lieu of a degree, including a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience
• Ability to document processes accurately and in detail using BPMN 2.0
• 5 years of financial services experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Certified, or Agile certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience handling multiple tasks and working under time constraints
• Strong design and systems thinking skills
• Preferred: bachelor’s degree in technical, finance, or business discipline
• Preferred: minimum of 8 years’ process improvement experience
• Fin Tech or Corporate Trust experience preferred
• Experience with risk management practices, including Risk and Control Assessments, preferred
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented
• Proven success scaling process design practices across large, complex organizations
• AI prompt engineering experience preferred

Demonstrates expertise in process improvement, risk management, and compliance within financial services, utilizing BPMN 2.0 for process documentation and design. Proven ability to lead initiatives that enhance operational excellence and drive continuous improvement across complex organizations.
