Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District is seeking a caring, outgoing, and transformative Science teacher. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Junior High and High School Science classes, with a background working with at‑risk students and experiential learning.

- Proven skill in forming, building, and maintaining positive relationships
- Evidence of successful experiences with students at a secondary level

- Facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills
- Collaborate and work with fellow teachers to provide the best growth and opportunities for high school students
- Create a flexible, safe learning environment that is conducive to individualized and small group learning
- Provide feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
- Document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes
- Understand and utilize district technologies to support learning for students
- Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

Per JWP Education Association Master Agreement ($49,412‑$55,744 for first‑year teachers, dependent upon education level; additional credit given for years of experience)

Employment Requirements/Conditions
:
Applicants must hold a current teaching license by the Minnesota Department of Education. Science 5–8 and Chemistry required. Earth and Space Science preferred.
