Position: Facility Project Engineer - 255845

We are seeking a Facility Project Engineer to support biopharmaceutical facility and utility projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness..

Key Responsibilities Project Management
  • Manage or support facility and utility projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Lead project meetings, track schedules, and follow up on action items.
  • Identify project risks and issues and support development of mitigation plans.
  • Represent the owner's interests by monitoring contractor and vendor performance.
Facility & Utility Engineering
  • Support the design and implementation of facility and utility systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
  • Conduct field surveys and collect data for engineering projects.
  • Review P&IDs, drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
  • Manage drawing updates, redlines, revisions, and as-built documentation.
  • Support clean utilities, process utilities, and facility support systems.
  • Support construction activities, shutdowns, equipment tie-ins, and field execution.
  • Coordinate and oversee contractors during installation.
  • Support FAT, SAT, startup, commissioning, and qualification activities.
  • Review contractor work for compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
  • Manage contractor turnover documentation and project closeout activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the biopharmaceutical or life sciences industry
    .
  • Experience with facility, utility, or manufacturing support systems in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to read and understand P&IDs, engineering drawings, specifications, and related technical documents.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel based on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3–10 years of facility, utility engineering, or capital project experience.
  • Experience with clean utilities, process utilities, facility utilities, or manufacturing support systems.
  • Experience working in a GMP/cGMP environment
    .
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with construction, commissioning, qualification, or operational readiness activities.
  • Familiarity with biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facility requirements.
