This 100% in‑office position is based in a designated Wes Banco location—in particular, the Waldorf Rte. 5 Banking Center. Customer Service Advisors (CSAs) provide excellent customer service, identify sales opportunities, and perform account transactions. CSAs respond to the immediate needs of the Banking Center, support other Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), and promote bank products and services while maintaining compliance with all policies and security procedures.
CSAs also initiate outbound telephone calls to onboard new retail customers, prospect for new relationships, and promote bank products to existing customers. Community service participation may be required in the local market.
- Model the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge in all interactions.
- Initiate conversations to assess customer financial needs and provide recommendations or referrals to business partners.
- Accurately process all financial transactions and maintain correct cash handling procedures.
- Open new deposit accounts and operate the cash drawer, following balancing and cash handling protocols.
- Operate within security and audit procedures at all times.
- Achieve production and referral goals through relationship development, customer consultations, outbound calls, and onboarding.
- Communicate and collaborate with branch staff to promote a team environment and ensure goal attainment.
- Prioritize activities by monitoring performance against banking center objectives and adjust accordingly.
- Execute outbound calling activities using customer lists, promote bank products, and make referrals per location goals.
- Educate the bank team on uncovering opportunities that advance customers' financial wellness.
- Support day‑to‑day operations including customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash level control, inventory, audit, and compliance.
- Participate in regular staff meetings.
- Provide service to customers and prospective customers on banking matters and resolve problems professionally.
- Build working relationships with internal business partners and seek constructive feedback.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and decision making while following guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain security controls to protect the banking center from fraud and expose risks.
- Keep all sensitive information confidential and secure.
- Support the banking center by answering incoming calls and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.
- Acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Complete all assigned compliance training promptly.
- Generate new financial relationships through outbound calling, internal business development, and a loyal customer base.
- Effectively interact with customers and articulate product information verbally and in writing.
- Possess strong product knowledge for selling and promoting bank products at the expected level.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills, multitask, and remain flexible.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and other banking software.
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- High school diploma required.
The wage range for this position is $18.50–$21.50 per hour, plus eligible overtime and referral incentives.
