The Grant Manager (PRO Housing) is a full-time contractual position within the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development's Division of Policy, Strategy, and Research. The role manages and coordinates all activities under the HUD PRO Housing FY24 grant award, including overseeing a competitive subgrant program for local jurisdictions, implementing quality control standards, and coordinating required federal and state reporting. The position engages directly with HUD staff, other state agencies, and local jurisdiction officials across Maryland.
Keyqualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate required; six years of administrative staff or professional work experience
- Bachelor's degree in humanities, social sciences, public policy, public administration, or related field (preferred)
- Grant or other technical writing experience (preferred)
- Experience managing programs or budgets over $100,000 (preferred)
- Experience working within local, state, or federal government (preferred)
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license if assigned vehicle operation duties
