Overview
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Dev Ops Engineer IV to join our team. We are looking for a Dev Ops Development Lead to help provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates the microservices of a modernized operational system using cutting edge technologies.
Responsibilities- Architect infrastructure leveraging AWS technologies and services.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools. Technologies often used include Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Containerization: install, configure, and tune performance with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, Docker Compose, and related tools.
- Perform high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, cost analysis, implementation, and complex issue resolution.
- Evaluate cloud infrastructure costs, recommend cost-saving measures, reduce maintenance, and optimize AWS service usage.
- Decompose sprint priorities and generate tickets aligned with internal priorities.
- Manage team tasking and sprint workloads to keep the team on track and executing in an orchestrated manner.
- Track ticket execution while guiding the technical direction of the infrastructure to align with program and product needs.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deploying code using Git Lab runners and Argo CD.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Requirements
- Twelve (12) years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer in programs/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional engineer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Current CWIP (DoD 8140) certificate.
- Desired
- Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, Step Functions) using Terraform and auto scaling.
- Understanding of AWS networking principles, including VPCs, NATs, and IP Gateway.
- Develop and manage Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.
- Kubernetes experience with a focus on EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate.
