Role Overview

The Service Now Release Manager will work within a fast-paced, Agile team to support the management of requirements, promotion of update sets from one environment to the next, design, integration, and delivery of new functionality in the AWS Cloud. This position will support requirements, design, integration, and deployment of new automated capabilities for end users.

What You Will Do

The Release Manager will oversee the development, testing, deployment, and support involved in the design and releases of the Joint Management Tool and Teleport efforts. The Release Manager will incorporate goals and long-term strategic planning, as well as individual tactical steps employed to help reach those goals.

Requirements
  • US Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Ability to commute to Ft. Meade, MD for full-time on-site support
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience or master's with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in Process Mapping
  • Experience in architecture, design, develop, and delivery of data-driven operations capabilities, within a DoD environment
  • Experience identifying and tracking related project task dependencies, risks & possible mitigations
  • Experience estimating level of effort (hrs./days/resources) to feed a projected project schedule
  • Experience working with a highly technical team and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with JIRA, Xray, Confluence, and Git repo
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well/collaborate with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple releases simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
