Role Overview
Support end user hardware, asset and configuration management, and secure communications systems at NMIC (Suitland, MD). Maintain reliable IT infrastructure while providing technical support to mission critical operations.
What You Will DoInstall, configure, and maintain hardware and software, perform network switch patching, ensure security patches are current, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Why It Might Be a FitMust have 5+ years of experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix based infrastructure, proficiency with Microsoft business tools, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Requirements- High school diploma or GED
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- One of the following certifications:
CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, BICSI ITS Installer 2 (Fiber Optic) certification within six months of hire, CISSP, CASP - 5+ years of experience supporting Windows, Linux, and Unix based infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience using Service Now Action Request System or an equivalent ticketing system
- Proficiency with Microsoft business tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
