Senior Data and Performance Manager; Administrator VI

The Senior Data and Performance Manager works within the Governor's Office of Performance Improvement to advance data-driven decision making and performance management across Maryland state government. This role leads project-based efforts with state agencies to support operational efficiencies and service delivery improvements aligned with Moore-Miller administration priorities. The position involves conducting analyses, building data strategies, and serving as a liaison between the Governor's office and agency leadership on high-impact initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least 8 years of experience as a Performance Analyst, Policy Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably in government
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex data for executives
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, spreadsheet software, and AI tools
• Experience in performance management, strategic planning, data analytics, and/or public administration
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven ability to facilitate meetings and navigate complex organizational environments
