The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, and work areas. Duties include refilling supplies, sanitizing equipment, making beds, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and other general cleaning tasks.

• Make beds.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and replace light bulbs.
• Comply with regulations set forth by material safety data sheets when using chemicals.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts, wear uniform in accordance with company policy.
• Know and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
