Retail & Store Manager, Operations Manager
The Assistant General Manager reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for developing a high‑performing team that consistently delivers top‑line sales growth. This person will lead and support the staff with customer service, sales training, product knowledge, leadership development, inventory controls, and compliance.
Job Responsibilities- Working with the General Manager to plan and implement sales strategies to drive positive sales growth within the dispensary.
- Maintaining strong inventory controls and making sure that the store upholds compliance standards.
- Coaching, training, and developing staff, making sure they are aligned with the company's goals and vision.
- Partnering with the General Manager to help create, monitor, and track the store's KPIs, and leveraging data to help drive decisions around labor costs, sales strategies, and training opportunities.
- Helping to hire, train and onboard new staff within the dispensary.
- Assisting with the store's day‑to‑day operations and partnering with other internal teams, such as marketing, retail operations, and supply chain.
- 3+ years of management experience in a high‑volume retail environment.
- High School education or GED required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in the cannabis industry is a bonus.
- Experience with point‑of‑sales systems and backend compliance tools, such as Dutchie and Metrc.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to recruit and train staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Analytical with the ability to set and track store KPIs.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid State‑Issued U.S. Passport.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 50+ pounds.
- Must be able to either sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have no scheduling restrictions.
- Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of state badging requirements.
$52,500 - $55,000 USD
