Registered Nurse (RN):
Schools

La Plata, MD

School-Based (Pre‑K through 12, depending on assignment)

$33.00 - $42.00 hourly (based on experience)

Full Time or Part Time Available (Hours per week: 35-40; Shift Times: Day shift)

Approximately 10 months (08/12/2026 - 06/14/2027)

Local or Travel

• Qualified applicants must have at least 2 years of experience as an RN, with pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Maryland RN license or multi‑state license willing to obtain Maryland licensure.

• Pediatric nursing experience including immunizations, screenings, and care plans.
• School nurse or school‑based care experience.
• Collaborative skills with school staff, families, and children.

As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will provide direct care to students experiencing illness, injury, and chronic health conditions. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate health records, collaborating with school staff and families to support student health, and respecting the personalized care plans in place.
