Quality Control Chemist - I

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a QC Biochemist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Frederick, MD 21704.

• Pay: $30.07/hr to Start!!
• 1 year assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Wednesday – Saturday (3pm to 1:30am EST)
• Position will be mainly responsible for performing QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and final products using Flow Cytometry, ELISA, qPCR, and cell-based bioassays in a GMP laboratory.
• Position will also be responsible for reviewing analytical data, supporting product release, investigating OOS results, and assisting with deviation and root cause investigations.
• Position will also be maintaining laboratory equipment through routine calibration and maintenance while ensuring GMP compliance and overall lab readiness.
• Position will also be responsible for authoring and revising SOPs and validation documents, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and providing updates to cross-functional teams.

• HSD and 3+ years of quality control experience, AS and 2+ years of quality control experience, OR BS and any quality control experience is Required!
• Experience in a GMP environment is Preferred!
• Experience with Cell based bioassays (Flow, ELISA, qPCR) is Preferred!
• Experience with root cause, investigations, deviations are Preferred!
• Experience with MS office is Preferred!
