What you'll do
  • Oversee the entire ticketing process from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
  • Manage ticket sales through various platforms, ensuring that all sales data is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding ticket inquiries, providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with event organizers to understand ticketing needs and develop strategies to maximize ticket sales.
  • Monitor ticket inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock for upcoming events.
  • Prepare and distribute ticketing reports to stakeholders, providing insights into sales performance and customer trends.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies to promote ticket sales and increase event attendance.
  • Train and supervise any part-time staff or volunteers involved in ticketing operations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all ticketing documentation, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence.
  • Utilize ticketing software and tools to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Participate in post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement in ticketing operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ticketing and event management to continually enhance service delivery.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in ticketing, event management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers and team members.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing software and other relevant tools to manage sales and inventory.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Nice to have
  • Experience in the live events industry or with specific ticketing platforms such as Eventbrite or Ticketmaster.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and promotional techniques to drive ticket sales.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools to interpret sales data and customer feedback.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a ticketing or customer service role.
