The City of Baltimore is seeking a Housing Inspector to assess exteriors, interiors, and surrounding grounds of vacant and occupied single- and two-family dwellings as well as adjacent commercial properties to enforce building, health, housing, zoning, sanitation, and fire codes.
Incumbents work with moderate supervision, in diverse neighborhoods, and must be able to prepare clear reports, issue notices, conduct inspections, and testify in court when needed.
