Principal Software Engineer- Hybrid

Envision is seeking a motivated, career, and customer‑oriented Principal Software Engineer to join their team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland
. This is a Hybrid position.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance software solutions
• Provide technical leadership on high‑impact projects
• Facilitate alignment and clarity on goals, outcomes, and timelines
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Work closely with the Chief Engineer to design feature specifications and build products
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
• Complete medium to large features independently without mandatory guidance
• Identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, or systems

• Twenty (20) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front‑end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or 4 years additional experience might be substituted for a degree.
