Position
Mid‑Level Software Engineer – Full-time. Requires a TS/SCI/Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
Location:
Annapolis Junction, MD.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college/university AND at least 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college/university AND at least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- OR Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
This is a full‑stack Software Engineering position. The Software Engineer will develop and maintain a web application that manages access to HPC resources in a large multi‑tenant containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.
Required Skills & Experience- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.
- Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
- Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, including React.
- Recent software development experience using Python.
- Experience designing and developing REST interfaces using FastAPI.
- Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, containerd, and Podman.
- Experience with container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes.
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy services in a Kubernetes environment.
- Experience with Git source control system.
- Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Understanding of OIDC or OpenID authentication protocols.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
