- Permanent position for a Business Development Engineer covering the full customer lifecycle from lead generation and technical solution definition through negotiation, commissioning and after-sales support.
- Execute sales and marketing plans against assigned revenue targets and market share goals.
- Prospect, qualify and develop new leads within the industrial process equipment market.
- Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and their engineering staff on application selection, equipment sizing and system capability.
- Deliver product presentations, equipment demonstrations and trials at customer sites, trade shows and industry seminars.
- Translate customer and channel partner needs into product and functional requirements, and route field feedback to product management.
- Coordinate with technical support on system commissioning, startup issues and post-sale technical resolution at end-user sites.
- Maintain account activity, pipeline and forecast data in a CRM platform and prepare sales reporting.
- BS Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience with industrial process equipment.
- Experience selling capital equipment on a consultative, solution-based cycle against a quota.
- Working knowledge of process applications such as particle size reduction, dispersion/mixing or continuous reaction systems.
- Experience troubleshooting process and application issues in the field.
- Experience with CRM software for pipeline and account management.
- Willingness to travel 30-50%.
- Experience supporting equipment commissioning and startup a plus.
