Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking Applications Engineers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new applications and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing applications and procedures.
- Configure and optimize manufacturing software for improved efficiency and performance.
- Train end-users on new applications and system functionalities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
- Proven ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis.
- Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., Ansys, COMSOL) for process optimization.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus TCP).
- Background in statistical process control (SPC) and quality assurance methodologies.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for design and manufacturing processes.
